The Mayor that Mamaroneck Needs
Tom Murphy has lived 27 years in Mamaroneck where he has raised his three children –Emma, Tommy and Michael. Like many of us, Tom began volunteering in Mamaroneck when his children attended local schools. He became involved in not-for-profit board service with work for the Washingtonville Housing Alliance and LMC-TV and was appointed to the Harbor & Coastal Zone Management Commission and the Recreation Commission. Tom has extensive experience as an elected official in both the Village – for 5 years – and the Town where he is currently serving his fourth year on the Mamaroneck Town Council.
Among his significant accomplishments, Tom cites the televising of municipal land use board meetings, the installation of the Spray Park in Harbor Island, enacting a cutting-edge environmental agenda, and securing critical funding for the survival of Mamaroneck’s Co-op Day camp.

The Trustee that Mamaroneck Deserves
Nora Lucas is a lifelong Mamaroneck resident, known throughout the Village for her extensive volunteer service. She grew up in the Town of Mamaroneck and now resides with her husband, Tony, and daughter, Molly, in Rye Neck. Nora is a professional architectural historian who has served for 10 years as a Girl Scout leader, has been a long-time food pantry volunteer, and serves as Democratic Party Committee chair.
Nora has served on the Village’s Mamaroneck Affordable Condominium Corporation, on its Landmarks Advisory Committee and presently serves on its Flood Mitigation Advisory Committee. She has researched and published articles on the history of the Town of Mamaroneck, submitted research on local sites such as the Albert Wilson House for eligibility on the National Register of Historic Places, and sponsored 5 high school seniors in their pursuit of the Girl Scout Gold Award.
