With this year’s campaign for Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees behind us — and Thanksgiving just ahead — we wanted to take the opportunity to express our deep gratitude for your support. We are honored by the votes you cast for us on election day, and humbled by the responsibility of representing your values on the Board of Trustees. We look forward to our new roles with great optimism.
One of our top priorities is to create a more productive environment for Mamaroneck’s volunteer committees. These committees let residents with varied backgrounds and experiences offer invaluable advice to the Village administration and elected officials. We’re looking to fill vacancies with the most qualified candidates in the Village, and would like you to consider whether you, or anyone you know, could effectively fill the openings on the current committees.
Please take a look at this list of committees to see the scope of issues our volunteer committees take on. Several openings will be filled at the Board of Trustees meeting on December 3, so if you are interested, please submit a resume right away to the Clerk Treasurer’s office at 123 Mamaroneck Avenue or via email.
Finally, we’d like to offer our appreciation to the three outgoing Trustees — Sid Albert, John Hofstetter, and Toni Pergola Ryan — for their years of service to the Village of Mamaroneck. Their commitment to public service sets a high standard for the three of us — indeed, for all of us. We invite you to join us at the Board of Trustees meeting on November 26, at 7:30, when there will be a special presentation to Sid, John, and Toni to acknowledge their great contribution to our community. A wine and cheese reception will follow the board meeting.
A very happy Thanksgiving to you and your family,
